Verdane increases stake in Bellman Group
Private equity firm Verdane has acquired a 38.7% stake in Bellman Group, a Swedish provider of construction services.
Verdane now holds a 74.5% stake in Bellman. The remaining shares are owned by parts of Bellman's management and board.
The GP bought its initial stake of 35.8% in 2016 via Verdane Capital VIII. Since then, Bellman has made at least three add-on acquisitions, including Losshållningsbolaget, SÅCAB Åkericentral, and Samgrav Holding.
The investment will allow Bellman to continue to develop further, find the right acquisition opportunities and drive development in the industry.
Partner Per Nordlander said the company increased its market share in 2020 as a supplier in the infrastructure sector, and had seen sales growth of 700% since the GP joined as owners in 2016.
