Verdane, Sprints invest in racket sports platform Matchi
Verdane and Sprints Capital have invested in Swedish racket sports platform Matchi.Т
According to Swedish tech website DI Digital, the company raised SEK 200m (€19.8m) from the two GPs.
Sprints Capital and Verdane, which will be investing from Verdane Capital X, will both own equal stakes in Matchi, and will support the company in its international expansion.
Verdane partner Daniel Ahlstrand said in a statement that the GP had been following Matchi for some time, and was "impressed with the company's consistently strong growth in the Nordic region".
The GP added that the company had roughly doubled its revenues every year since launching in 2012.

Founded in 2012 in Gothenburg, Matchi provides a digital platform for racket sports players and venues.
It facilitates court bookings and payment, as well as activities and courses, player partnering, and automated racket rentals. It also provides administration, automation and accounting services to venue operators. The company has a thousand venues on its platform and 860,000 players, and employs 50 staff
