Blue Cloud Ventures leads €50m round for Templafy
US-based investor Blue Cloud Ventures has led a $60m series-D round for Templafy, a Denmark-based software firm that deals with business document creation.
All existing investors, including Insight Partners, Dawn Capital, Seed Capital and Damgaard Company, took part in the round.
The latest round brings Templafy's total funding it has raised to $125m and will be used to push for further growth of the company, CEO Jesper Theill Eriksen told Crunchbase. He added that the company had seen a 121% increase in net ARR in Q1 2021 compared to Q1 last year.
Previous funding
The business raised $17.2m in a series-B round in February 2018 from existing investors Insight and Dawn.
This was followed in November 2018 by the company raising an additional $15m in a series- B round from Seed Capital, Preben Damgaard, Insight, Dawn, the company's founders and other private investors. According to the company, by this time it had raised $40.2m, having raised $8m prior to the two series-B rounds.
In April 2020, Insight Partners led a $25m series-C funding round for Templafy.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2014, Templafy is a B2B provider of a template-management software. It has more than 600 businesses customers and employs 500 staff.
