Novo and Almi in SEK 25.5m round for Denator
Novo Seeds and Almi Invest have participated in a SEK 25.5m financing round for Swedish biotech company Denator.
Almi and Novo, entering as new investors, have contributed significantly to this sixth round for Denator.
Managing investment director Søren Møller commented that Novo Seeds sees potential for Denator's heat stabilisation technology for protein-based research into, for example, neurodegenerative diseases and cancer.
Company
Denator, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, develops and markets products for stabilisation of biological tissues and fluids. The products are used to enhance the quality of data derived from analytical techniques in laboratories.
People
Managing investment director Søren Møller worked on the investment for Novo Seeds, and will join the Denator board of directors. Investment manager Johan Crona worked on the investment on behalf of Almi.
