
Almi and Chalmers Innovation back Halon
Almi Invest and Chalmers Innovation Seed Fund have backed Swedish web security solutions provider Halon Security.
Halon will use the funding from Almi and Chalmers to break into the US market, predominantly with its product aiming to increase email security for service providers. Chalmers is supported by the EU Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).

Halon Security was founded by brothers Peter and Jonas Falck in Gothenburg in 2002. The company provides software solutions, with a particular focus on email security and firewalls. It is currently represented in 16 countries.
