
Northzone invests SEK 29m in Sqore
Nordic VC Northzone has invested SEK 29m in Swedish recruitment business Sqore.
The investment was made from the VC's newest vehicle, Northzone VII, which held a final close on $325m in December 2014.
Sqore will use the fresh capital to fuel its international growth by expanding its service to offer global recruitment services, as well as develop its recruitment product.
Company
Founded in 2010, Stockholm-based Sqore offers companies and universities a platform to create skills-based recruitment challenges online.
It manages a global talent database, which lists and ranks members across the world and matches them with jobs, scholarships and internships.
Sqore runs competitions in which students and jobseekers compete to solve challenges, allowing Sqore to rank the individuals and help inform the decision of a company or university looking to recruit new talent.
Sqore had revenues of SEK 17m last year and employs a staff of 35.
