
Private-equity-backed Visma acquires DigitalBooker
Visma, a Norwegian enterprise software company jointly owned by KKR, Cinven and HgCapital, has acquired Finnish online booking company DigitalBooker.
Visma M&A director Mikael Männik told unquote" the bolt-on was a small transaction, financed from its balance sheet with no additional funding provided by its private equity backers.
The deal came as a result of DigitalBooker's founders looking for a new owner for the company, in order to support its continued growth.
The acquisition of DigitalBooker sees Visma expanding its software portfolio further.
Visma's Männik recently spoke to unquote" about the Nordic enterprise software sector, and his company's strategy for expansion.

Founded in 2007, DigitalBooker is a software-as-a-service-based online booking company headquartered in Turku, Finland.
The company claims to have 500,000 users and provides booking services for recreational activities, resource booking and airlines, among others.

Øystein Moa is the CEO of Visma. Henrik Karlström and Fredrik Rönnlund are the founders of DigitalBooker.
