Verdane buys Aggregate Media portfolio in direct secondary
Swedish direct secondaries GP Verdane Capital has acquired a portfolio of shareholdings in seven companies from Aggregate Media in a direct secondary transaction.
The deal saw Verdane buy Aggregate's stake in e-commerce companies Allinc, Consector, Ecoride, Funera, Schoolido, Stor & Liten and Smart Senior through the GP's Verdane VIII fund. Across all its funds, the GP's portfolio totals 44 companies after the acquisition.
While Aggregate fully exited its stakes in the seven companies to Verdane, the media group said it plans to raise an eighth investment vehicle in 2016.
The deal is the fifth between Verdane and Aggregate, with the GP having invested in Aggregate-backed companies on four occasions prior to this most recent transaction.
