Ratos-backed Bisnode acquires Vendemore Nordic
Swedish business information firm Bisnode, backed by Ratos, has acquired the remaining shares in online marketing company Vendemore Nordic.
Bisnode acquired 51% of the shares in Vendemore in September 2011. Bisnode has now acquired the remaining 49% of the shares. Vendemore's services will be fully integrated with Bisnode's marketing and business information offering.
The acquisition gives Bisnode's customers access to conducting targeted marketing online.
Ratos considered a flotation of Bisnode in 2007, though plans were scrapped as the offering was not fully subscribed. In 2008, Ratos completed a refinancing of Bisnode, which provided the owners with a cash payment of approximately SEK 865m.
In 2008 the firm bolted on German online search services company Wer liefert was? (WLW) from Seat Pagine Gialle for a total consideration of SEK 411m.
In 2012, Bisnode divested marketing solutions firm Baby DM Scandinavia as part of a programme to streamline its business and focus on its core offering. Bisnode acquired Grufman Reje, an analytics company specialising in trade and industry analysis, earlier this month.
