Verdane buys EasyPark
Verdane Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in pay-by-phone parking provider EasyPark.
The investment was made from Verdane Capital VII, which closed at SEK 1.5bn in 2010. Remaining shareholders include Ledstiernan, Marinvest, and management.
The deal represents an exit for previous investor Incitia.
Company
EasyPark was established through a number of mergers and acquisitions and traces back to 1999. The company allows motorists to pay for parking spaces by a telephone call, text message, or smartphone app. It is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and employs 85 staff throughout the Nordics and Germany.
