Industrifonden and SEB Venture back Clavister
Industrifonden and SEB Venture Capital have backed Swedish IT security firm Clavister with a SEK 40m investment.
The investment is intended to support an international expansion of the company, which will continue to focus on mobile communication, cloud services, and internet security.
Company
Clavister, founded in 1997, provides hardware network security solutions to business customers. It has currently deployed 175,000 installations for around 20,000 customers. Based in Örnsköldsvik in northern Sweden, with sales and marketing capacities in Stockholm, the company employs 120 staff and recorded a SEK 75m turnover in 2010.

Investment manager Hadar Cars worked on the investment on behalf of Industrifonden. Investment manager Ulf Lewander worked on the deal for SEB Venture Capital.
