Northcap invests DKK 15m in Colego
Danish venture capital firm Northcap Partners has invested DKK 15m in Colego, the developer of a bidding platform for business services.
Colego will use the new capital to expand from its home market of Denmark, in which it has operated since 2012, into Europe – starting with Germany.
The investment is the second in a week from Northcap, following a €2.7m investment in work management software company Sekoia.
Like the Sekoia investment, the VC's funding round for Colego was made through its €80m third fund, NCP-IVS III.
Company
Founded in 2012, Colego offers an online platform for people in need of a specific service to receive bids from businesses in that sector.
The company connects prospective customers to businesses across 40 industries, and plans to expand on its offering this year.
Based in Copenhagen, Colego employs 65 people.
