Vaaka-backed Enegia buys intStream
Vaaka Partners-backed Finnish energy consultancy Enegia Group has acquired energy market software provider intStream in an add-on acquisition.
The bolt-on is the first M&A transaction completed by Enegia since being acquired by Vaaka in a 2014 buyout and merger of Energiakolmio Skapat Energia. After completion, intStream will be assumed under Enegia's group structure.
For Enegia, the bolt-on will expand the group's offering by adding a software product suite to its current energy management services. The staff of intStream will all continue in their jobs under Enegia's new ownership.
Company
Headquartered in Espoo, intStream is a Finnish software developer focusing on products for the energy market.
The software suite includes tools for analysis and management of market information, as well as risk and sales contracts management.
