Resilience Partners targets final close for direct lending fund
Spanish direct lender Resilience Partners is targeting a February 2019 final close for Resilience Partners Fund I, Unquote understands.
The fund manager held a €40.6m first close in August last year and is expecting to hold a further interim close later this year as it targets up to €150m in commitments from investors.
Backing has come from institutional investors, funds-of-funds, family offices and high-net-worth individuals, with a significant weight of international investors.
Resilience Partners provides senior or unitranche financing to medium-sized Spanish companies, investing tickets of €4-15m.
This week, the fund completed its third investment by financing Industrial Blansol, a producer of pipe systems, with a seven-year €5m loan. The manager anticipates making an additional two or three investments in the coming months.
Resilience Partners was set up in late 2015 by former 3i executives Adriana Oller and Agustin Pla.
