EQT opens Milan office
EQT Partners has opened an office in Milan to strengthen its presence and support its investment activity in Italy.
The office will be led by EQT managing director and head of Italy Federico Quitadamo, who joined the firm from CVC Capital Partners in 2017.
The announcement comes three years after EQT's first investment in Italy, the buyout of 3D-printed orthopaedic implant manufacturer Lima via EQT VII.
EQT now has 18 offices globally, including 13 in Europe: Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Guernsey, Helsinki, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Stockholm and Zurich.
The GP has often stressed the importance of local offices to its strategy, operating what it calls a "locals-with-locals" approach.
