BPEP backs Spanish security firm with €10m growth funding
Baring Private Equity Partners EspaУБa has supported the rapidly-growing security business Castellana de Seguridad SA (CASESA) with a substantial package of expansion capital funding.
The €10m investment will go towards the further expansion of CASESA, which has grown rapidly in recent years to become the fifth largest security services provider in the Spanish market. The business is aiming to become a top three player in the segment during the next five years.
CASESA, which employs 4,500 staff, generated €131m in turnover last year. It operates from 14 offices throughout Spain and is planning to open new offices in Seville, Toledo and in the province of Castilla y León. Among the group's key clients are Metro de Madrid, Patrimonio Nacional, Gas Natural Fenosa, Renfe, ADIF, FCC, Iberdrola, Repsol YPF, Vodafone and France Telecom (Orange).
