
Chequers-backed Accelya to acquire Kale Consultant
Chequers Capital portfolio company Accelya has reached an agreement to acquire a controlling stake in Indian support services business Kale Consultants.
As Kale is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, Accelya will launch an open offer. Kale's management will also take part in the transaction.
India-based Kale Consultants offers BPO services (software products, technology, managed process, hosting and consulting services) to the airline and travel industry. With more than $35m in revenues and 1,500 employees, Kale services more than 100 customers across 30 countries.
Barcelona-based Accelya is also a BPO service provider to the airline and travel industry in areas such as BSP processing, sales audit, e-invoicing and settlement, credit card management and business intelligence. With a 600-strong workforce, it generates around €70m of revenues.
