
Ambienta invests €30m in Spig
Ambienta has invested €30m in Spig S.p.A., a producer of industrial cooling systems.
The private equity investor's Ambienta I fund took on a 30% stake, while the Mosiewicz family retained 70%.
Established in 1936, Spig was founded by Fernando Bonati and Agar Sorbatti. Currently, headquartered in Arona, the company provides a wide array of cooling towers and air cooled condensers. It has offices in Romania, Russia, Turkey, Dubai, Bahrain and Germany.
