
AC Desarollo backs Grupo NRSur
AC Desarollo, via its fund AC Capital Premier II FCR, yesterday announced its third deal of the year, providing an undisclosed package of expansion capital to back the fast food franchise business Grupo NRSur.
The deal, which follows AC Desaraollo's recent investment in the English language professional training business Vaughan Systems, gives the backer a minority stake in the company. No further financial details have been disclosed.
Grupo NRSur, based in the province of Malaga, is the leading fast food franchise operator in the south of Spain. It manages 33 Burger King outlets, making it the leading franchisee for this brand in Andalusia and one of the most important in Spain as a whole. It also runs 16 stores under the Dunkin Coffee brand. In total, the group generates sales of over €38m.
