Seaya Ventures leads €4.1m series-A for Hundredrooms
Spanish venture capital firm Seaya Ventures has led a €4.1m series-A round for Spanish online property rental platform Hundredrooms.
According to press reports, Seaya provided a €3.3m equity ticket to the round.
As part of the deal, the company will use the fresh capital to enhance its product development, launching new services and products. Moreover, the company intends to expand its business across the US and Latin America, including Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Argentina and Chile.
Other backers in the round include existing investors Inveready, Bankinter Capital Riesgo and Media Digital Ventures.
Following the transaction, the company will launch a televised marketing campaign through Spanish television network Atresmedia.
Previous funding
In 2015, Inveready led a €1m funding round for the company, alongside Bankinter and Media Digital Ventures, as well as several public funds and existing backers.

Based in Palma, Majorca, and founded in 2014, Hundredrooms is an online holiday property rental search engine, which allows client to compare prices for accommodations from several websites including Airbnb, House Trip, Booking.com and Hotels.com.
