
Geenapp raises €500,000 round from Caixa and Kima
Venture capital firms Caixa Capital Risc and Kima Ventures have invested €500,000 in Barcelona-based startup Geenapp.
According to a statement, the fresh funding will enable the company to further develop its products and boost its international expansion, as well as expand its team.
In November 2014, the company raised a $250,000 seed round from several backers, including accelerator Wayra and high-net-worth individuals Pedro Navarette and César Bardaji.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Barcelona, Geenapp is a mobile platform that provides traffic intelligence to campaign-focused apps, which it claims enables developers to expand an app's user base.
The company claims to manage 27,000 daily campaigns in 191 countries.
