
Corpfin secures 55% stake in Elastorsa
Buyout firm Corpfin Capital has acquired a 55% stake in Spain’s rubber compounds producer Elastorsa.
According to a statement, the management team will retain a 45% stake in the business and will continue to lead the company. The GP acquired its controlling stake via its vehicle Corpfin Capital Fund IV.
The company intends to use the fresh capital to boost its expansion in the Spanish market as well as across Europe.

Founded in 1967 and headquartered in Arnedo, Elastorsa specialises in manufacturing several kinds of rubber compounds. The company currently has five production plants; three in Spain, one in France and one in Slovakia. It employs 250 people.
The business posted €85.2m in revenues in 2015, with 58% generated outside Spain.
