
United Ventures leads €4m series-A for MainStreaming
Venture capital house United Ventures has led a €4m series-a round for Italian video delivery network MainStreaming.
According to a statement, the company is keen on using the capital injection to boost its international reach and to expand into new markets outside Europe, as well as hire new professionals and bolster its European sales team.
The company has a presence in Silicon Valley, where it manages its distribution channels across the US market.
The GP deployed capital through its 2013-vintage maiden vehicle, United Ventures I. Launched in February 2013, the fund held its final close on the €62.8m hard-cap in October 2014.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Milan, MainStreaming develops a digital video distribution platform for live and on-demand videos.
The company claims broadcasters, telecommunications businesses and digital media companies are among its client base.
