
R301, Impulse VC inject $830,000 into Buzzoole
Swiss venture fund R301 Capital and Moscow-based incubator Impulse VC have provided an $830,000 funding round to Italian startup Buzzoole.
The funding was structured as a convertible note. Following the transaction, the GP expects to attract further investors and lead a series-A round of funding within 18 months.
The business recently expanded across the UK market and opened an office in London. Following the deal, the company aims to use the fresh capital to expand into Russia, France, Spain and India.
R301 participated in the round via its maiden high-tech-dedicated vehicle, which launched in January 2015 and concurrently held a first close on $10m.

Established in 2013, Buzzoole is headquartered in Naples and develops a social media advertising platform that connects brands with a variety of social media channels. The company claims large corporates such as Unilever, Mastercard and Toyota among its clients.
The company has a presence in Rome, Milan and London, and employs a staff of 50.
