
Siparex buys stake in HNH Hotels
French private equity house Siparex has invested roughly €8m for a 37% share in Italian hotel group HNH Hotels and Resorts.
Siparex intends to support the hotel group's growth, aiming to double turnover and the number of rooms in the next five years.
The Boccato family remains majority shareholder with Luca Boccato at the helm as CEO.
Equity in the deal comes from two funds – Siparaex Investimenti 2 and Midcap 2.

HNH is a hotel operator with several brands under its umbrella and 10 hotels and resorts under management. It is headquartered in the Veneto region, northern Italy and was founded in 1965 by the Boccato family. Turnover for 2016 was €34m, up 15.6% from 2015. The group has roughly 340 employees.
