RedSeed leads €4.5m round for Fazland
Italian early-stage investor RedSeed Ventures has led a €4.5m funding round for Reggio Emilia-based consulting startup Fazland.
As part of the deal, existing investors RedSeed and several high-net-worth individuals provided the funding capital alongside Ad4Ventures, the venture capital arm of Italian telecommunications group Mediaset.
The company aims to use the fresh capital to expand its service and boost its penetration across the Italian market.
Previous funding
In July 2014, RedSeed led a €500,000 round for Fazland's holding company Midnight Call alongside a syndicate of business angels. Following the injection, the business launched Fazland's website.
Company
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Reggio Emilia, Fazland has developed an online service platform that connects small businesses and professionals with customers with focus on home and personal services. According to press reports, the company posted a turnover of €1m in 2016.
