
Endurance Partners leads €6m round for Tuc Tuc
Barcelona-based venture capital fund Endurance Partners has led a €6m funding round for children's clothing manufacturer Tuc Tuc.
As part of the deal, the target company acquired an undisclosed stake in the GP's portfolio company, Canada House, a local competitor. Following the transaction, the companies expect to generate an aggregate turnover of €50m and aim to expand internationally across new markets.
Endurance acquired a stake in Barcelona-based children's clothes producer Canada House in 2013.
Company
Established in 1995 and headquartered in Lardero, in the north of Spain, Tuc Tuc manufactures clothes and accessories for children and infants. The business manages 49 flagship stores in Spain, Portugal and France and has a presence in 4,000 multi-brand stores globally.
According to press reports, the company generated €40m of revenues in 2016 and employs a staff of 300.
