
Nazca Capital's Foodbox buys Mas Q Menos
Nazca Capital-backed restaurants group Foodbox has acquired its Spanish competitor Mas Q Menos.
Following the acquisition, the merged group expects to generate a turnover of €98.7m in 2017 and employ 2,700 staff across 240 restaurants. Financial details surrounding the transaction have not been disclosed.
Foodbox is currently backed by Spanish buyout house Nazca Capital, which acquired a controlling stake in March 2015 via its Nazca III fund. The 2009-vintage vehicle held a final close on its €190m hard-cap in May 2010.

Established in 2012 and headquartered in Barcelona, Mas Q Menos currently manages 31 restaurants across Spain and the UK.
According to a statement, the business posted €27m in revenues in 2016 and employs a staff of 400 people.
