GPF Capital to sell Acuntia to Vinci Energies
GPF Capital has agreed to sell Spanish ICT services business Acuntia to Vinci Energies.
Once approved by the Spanish competition authority, Vinci will acquire an 85% stake in the target, leaving 15% in the hands of senior management. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
Previous funding
GPF acquired its majority stake in Acuntia via a secondary buyout from Corpfin Capital in January 2016. That deal, estimated by unquote" to be worth between €50-75m, brought to an end Corpfin's four-and-a-half-year ownership of the business and is thought to have generated the backer a 4x return.
Company
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Madrid, Acuntia is a provider of ICT products and services. The Spanish firm designs, implements, maintains and monitors the communications networks of a wide range of corporate customers via a network of branches throughout Spain.
