
GPF Capital buys freight transport firm Vicarli
Spanish buyout house GPF Capital has acquired a controlling stake in transport business Vicarli.
The GP acquired a controlling stake, while the management team will continue to head the business and is understood to retain a minority holding.
The business recently expanded into the Chilean market and expects to generate €30m in revenues in 2017.
The deal is the fifth acquisition for GPF, which recently sold Spanish ICT services business Acuntia to Vinci Energies.

Headquartered in Pamplona and founded in 1978, Vicarli manages a freight transportation fleet of 170 vehicles and seven warehouses totalling 110,000 square metres. The business has a presence in Spain, Chile, Mexico, the US, Costa Rica and Portugal.
Currently, Vicarli employs a staff of 280.
