
Gradiente's Dierre bolts on Sintesi
Private equity-backed Dierre has bought an 80% stake in Italian industrial soundproofing business Sintesi.
Controlled by Italian private equity firm Gradiente, Dierre produces armoured and interior doors and acquired an 80% stake in Sintesi from CEO Marco Winkler and managing director Stefano Lenarduzzi, who will retain a role in the company's management team.
Previous funding
Gradiente acquired Dierre in 2016 via its Gradiente I fund. The deal was the eighth acquisition for the GP's maiden vehicle, which was launched in November 2009 and held a first close on €75m in 2011.
Company
Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Padova, Sintesi manufactures industrial soundproofing systems. The company employs 65 people and generates €12.5m in revenues, according to press reports.
