
Hony Capital buys 30% stake in Mr&Mrs Italy
Chinese private equity firm Hony Capital has acquired a 30% stake in Italian apparel brand Mr&Mrs Italy.
The deal saw the company's management team, led by Fabio Leoncini and Andrea Bucalossi, retain a majority stake in the business.
Hony operates eight private equity funds and two mezzanine funds. It currently has $10bn in assets under management.

Established in 2007 and headquartered in Santarcangelo di Romagna, near Rimini, Mr&Mrs Italy manufactures luxury parkas and distributes across 300 multi-brand stores, nine own locations, and four franchised stores.
According to a statement, the company expects to post €57m in revenues in 2017 and currently exports 80% of its products.
