
Keen Venture Partners leads $10m series-A for Nextail
Keen Venture Partners has led a $10m series-A funding round for Madrid-based retail technology company Nextail.
Newcomer Sonae Investment Management and existing investor Nauta Capital also took part in the investment.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the company's product development, double the size of its team to 100 employees and bolster its international expansion, according to a statement.
Previous funding
Nextail raised €1.4m in a seed round led by Barcelona-based VC Nauta and Realiza Business Angels in September 2016. Nauta contributed €1.3m to the round, while Realiza injected the remaining €100,000.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Madrid, Nextail has developed a cloud-based platform that combines artificial intelligence and prescriptive analytics to upgrade retailers' inventory management and store operations. Nextail's clientbase includes international fashion and apparel retail brands including Pepe Jeans, Stefanel and Melon Fashion Group. The company has offices in Spain, Italy, Russia, the UK and the US.
