BC Partners' Pronovias bolts on Nicole
BC Partners-backed Pronovias has acquired Italian bridal fashion designer Nicole Fashion Group from current shareholders and founders Carlo Marco Cavallo, Alessandra Rinaudo and Luigi Cavallo.
A source familiar with the situation told Unquote that the GP did not deploy fresh capital to support Pronovias's bolt-on.
BC Partners acquired a 90% stake in Barcelona-based Pronovias for €495m from founder Alberto Palatchi, who retained a 10% holding in July 2017. Unquote understands that the fund used for the acquisition was BC European Capital X, which held a final close in January on its €7bn target.
