Nauta leads $2.2m seed round for Landbot
VC firm Nauta Capital has led a $2.2m seed round for Valencia-based startup Landbot.
Spanish investment bank Bankinter and VC fund Encomenda Smart Capital also took part in the investment.
The startup will use the investment to accelerate its product development and scale up its team, currently composed of 10 people. It also plans to use the funding to further improve its chat management system and add new product lines.
The GP deployed capital for this investment from Nauta Tech Invest IV fund, which held a final close on $170m in April 2017. The vehicle targets technology companies and deploys tickets of between €1-3m.
Following the deal, the startup, which is now based in Valencia, will move its headquarters to Barcelona to increase its visibility and attract international talent.
