Aurica buys stake in Larrumba
Aurica Capital has acquired a 30% stake in Spanish restaurants manager Grupo Larrumba.
The GP, a spinout from Spanish Banco de Sabadell, deployed capital from its Aurica III fund, which held a €140m second close in April 2017.
The company's founders, Fernando Nicolás, Charlie Saiz, Chiqui Calleja, Gonzalo López Hermida and Jorge Lozano, will retain their stakes in the company and continue to lead the business.
Larrumba will use the fresh capital to bolster its growth and expand internationally.
Company
Larrumba manages several restaurant brands, including Marieta, Habanera, Perrachica, PYT San and La Sabina. The company expects to reach EBITDA in excess of €8m from revenues of €55m in 2018.
