VC-backed ForceManager buys Sellf
Axa Venture Partners-backed ForceManager, a Spanish developer of mobile customer relationship management (CRM) software for sales teams, has acquired Italian counterpart Sellf.
ForceManager, based in Barcelona and founded in 2011, adds Italy to its list of office locations that includes the UK, Germany, Mexico and Colombia. It should also open an office in the US later this year.
The acquisition will enable ForceManager to expand the services it offers to its portfolio of around 1,600 clients. The business will employ 150 people.
ForceManager first received funding by Fons d'Enginyers and private investors, which collectively injected €550,000 into the business in 2013. A year later, Nauta Capital led a €2.8m round for ForceManager. The capital was intended for investments in new European markets and to undertake additional research and development.
In 2017, French GP Axa Venture led a €12m series-B round for ForceManager. Other backers in the round included Nauta, Sabadell, SIE and Histemi.
