ING Ventures leads €1.3m series-A for Axyon AI
ING Ventures, the venture capital arm of ING Bank, has led a €1.3m series-A funding round for Axyon AI, an Italian fintech startup.
The investment also saw the participation of Italian bank UniCredit and several angel investors.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate its growth, further develop its product offering and support additional investments in research and development.

Founded in 2016 and based in Modena, Axyon AI is a finance-focused deep-learning platform for asset managers. The company's key product, SynFinance, is based on an algorithm that learns from hundreds of thousands of transactions and provides predictive analysis and market insights. The platform is able to identify the investors most likely to participate in a syndicated loan and help investment banks advise their clients. Axyon has partnership with Thomson Reuters' Refinitiv, IBM and Nvidia.
