
Nauta Capital leads €5.4m funding round for Hosco
Nauta Capital has led a €5.4m funding round for Hosco, a digital platform for the hospitality industry.
Previous backer Athos Capital and several business angels also took part in the investment.
Following the deal, Nauta general partner Jordi Viñas will join Hosco's board to support the management.
The company will use the fresh capital to accelerate its growth, open new offices in the Americas in the first half of 2019, scale up its team by reaching 180 staff in two years, expand its global reach to new geographies and strengthen its product offering.
Previous funding
Hosco raised a seed round of CHF 600,000 in May 2014 and received an investment of CHF 1.5m in January 2015 from several business angels. Subsequently, Spanish VC firm Athos Capital led a CHF 3.8m series-A funding round for the company in June 2017.

Founded in 2011 and based in Barcelona with offices in Geneva and Dubai, Hosco provides a digital platform for recruitment in the hospitality industry.
The business started as a platform assisting hospitality students in finding internships and quickly expanded to become a tool for recruiters to advertise openings and secure qualified full-time talents in the industry. Focusing on the upscale hospitality segment, Hosco is currently used by 4,500 employers, 250 hospitality schools and 350,000 industry professionals, workers and students worldwide. The company employs 60 staff.
