Indaco Ventures leads $6m series-B for Mainstreaming
Italian venture capital house Indaco Ventures has led a $6m series-B funding round for Milan-based live streaming specialist Mainstreaming.
Existing investor United Ventures, and Sony Innovation Fund – the corporate venture capital arm of Sony Corporation – also took part in the round, which brought the total funding raised by Mainstreaming to $10m.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to further consolidate its market position in the broadcasting and online gaming markets, and boost its expansion across Europe and the US.

Italian VC firm United Ventures led a $4m series-A round for Mainstreaming in January 2017.

Founded in 2015, Mainstreaming provides broadcasters, media and gaming companies with live streaming and video encoding, management and distribution. The company is headquartered in Milan with offices in London, New York and San Francisco, and employs 15 staff.
