
Source, Holtzbrinck in $50m series-A for Wind Mobility
Venture capital firms Source Capital and HV Holtzbrinck Ventures have led a $50m series-A funding round for electric-scooter-sharing company Wind Mobility.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to boost its growth, pursue its international expansion throughout Asia and Europe, and invest in product development to further improve battery life and hardware durability.

Source Capital and Holtzbrinck led a $22m funding round for Wind Mobility in November 2018.

Founded in 2017 in Frankfurt as a bike-sharing company and currently headquartered in Barcelona, Wind Mobility is an electric-scooter-rental company with operations in Europe and Asia. It employs 120 staff worldwide, including at its R&D centre based in China. The company offers its services in 20 cities across several countries, including Germany, France, Spain, Israel, Austria, Portugal, Denmark, Korea and Japan.
