
P101 invests €2m in Osteocom
Italian venture capital house P101 has invested €2m in dental education platform Osteocom.
P101 deployed capital from its Programma 102 fund, which was launched with a €120m target and held a €65m first close in May 2018. It targets digital and technology startups based in Italy.
Osteocom intends to use the fresh financing to further expand its operations across Europe – primarily in the UK, France, Germany, Portugal and Poland – as well as in north America and Australia. The company also plans to launch new services, invest in marketing and further develop its proprietary technologies.
Previous funding
Osteocom raised a seed round of €550,000 from Milano Fiduciaria in 2013.

Founded in 2013 and based in Parma, Osteocom offers a platform for dental education providing courses and digital learning for dentists and dental professionals. It claims to have, among its subscribers, 23,000 Italian dentists and 25,000 dentists from other countries.
