
P101 leads €3.5m funding round for AppQuality
Venture capital house P101 has led a €3.5m funding round for AppQuality, an Italian startup specialising in crowdtesting.
P101 invested around €3m via its fund Programma 102 and Ita500, a venture capital fund launched by Azimut Libera Impresa and managed by P101.
Programma 102 is a €65m vehicle that targets Italian digital and technology startups offering B2C and B2B services to the food, fashion, design, travel, real estate, financial technology and cybersecurity sectors.
Additional capital was provided by previous investors ltalian Angels for Growth, Club Degli Investitori and Club Italia Investimenti 2.
Following the deal, P101 partner Giuseppe Donvito will become a member of the board and will work alongside the company's founders, as well as ltalian Angels for Growth partner Gianluca D'Agostino.

ltalian Angels for Growth, Club Degli Investitori, Club Italia Investimenti 2 and Digital 300 invested in the company in a seed round in 2017.

Established in 2015 and based in Milan, AppQuality is an online platform specialising in crowdtesting and user experience optimisation.
The platform enables its users to upload their application, configure testing criteria and perform crowdtesting. It features bugs completion, bugs finding, usability, security, internalisation, load testing and competitor analysis.
The company serves 100 clients, including several Italian and international corporations, such as Pirelli, Sky, BMW, Intesa Sanpaolo and Enel. It claims to have tripled its revenues in the last three years.
