
MIP invests €5m in Poke House
Italian venture capital house Milano Investment Partners (MIP) has invested €5m in Milan-based Poke House, a chain of Hawaiian restaurants.
With this investment, MIP acquired a stake of around 25%.
The company intends to use the fresh capital to further consolidate its market position, bolster its expansion in new locations across Europe and scale up its team. Poke House plans to open three new restaurants in the coming months.
Company
Established in 2018 and headquartered in Milan, Poke House manages eight Hawaiian casual dining restaurants specialising in poke, a traditional Hawaiian dish made of fish, rice and vegetables.
The company also offers vegan and vegetarian poke versions and the possibility to customise the dish according to customers' preferences. Poke House employs 100 staff and generates annual revenues of around €1m.
