Magnum Capital backs Isdi
Magnum Capital has acquired Spain-based online business school Instituto superior para el desarrollo de internet (Isdi).
The deal gives the company an enterprise value of around €50m, according to press reports.
Following this acquisition, Magnum intends to rebrand the company as Digital Talent Group and create a platform in the online education sector.
Isdi founders Javier Rodríguez Zapatero and Nacho de Pinedo will lead the new group as chair and CEO, respectively.
This the first investment made by the GP via Magnum Capital III, which was launched with a €400m target and €450m hard-cap in December 2019. The vehicle acquires majority stakes in Iberian companies operating in the industrial and services sectors.

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Madrid, Isdi is an online postgraduate business school. It offers masters and courses both online and onsite, in its campuses located in Madrid, Barcelona, Mexico City and Paris and its bootcamps at RCC-Harvard and Silicon Valley.
The company has a partnership with startup accelerators Impact and strategic agreements with various technology companies. It generates annual revenues of around €18m.
