
DN Capital, Kreos et al. in €11m round for Bnext
DN Capital, Kreos Capital, Redalpine, Speedinvest, Founders Future, Enern, Digital Horizons and Cometa have invested €11m in fintech startup Bnext.
This investment is an extension of the €22.5m series-A round raised by Bnext in October 2019 and brings the total financing collected by the company to more than €40m.
Bnext intends to use the funds to consolidate its growth in Spain and further boost its expansion in Mexico and Latin America.
Previous funding
Founders Future and Cometa invested in the company in 2017 and 2018.
Subsequently, Bnext raised €22.5m in a series-A round led by DN Capital, Redalpine, and Speedinvest in October 2019. The investment also saw participation from previous backers Founders Future and Cometa. Other investors included Enern, USM and Conexo.
Company
Established in 2017 and based in Madrid, Bnext offers banking services via a digital platform. Its users can upload money into their cards and use them worldwide without any transaction fees.
Bnext's app also allows users to connect with other bank accounts and manage their finance. The company claims to have more than 400,000 users and process €100m in transactions every month.
