
Principa divests Docebo to Klass
Klass Capital has acquired a controlling interest in Italy-based Docebo from previous investor Principia.
As part of the deal, Klass has also made an additional growth equity investment to support the company's expansion in the US.
Following the transaction, Docebo's management will continue to own a significant stake in the company.
Previous funding
Klass initially invested in the business earlier this year. Docebo first received funding in 2006 when Seeweb invested $202,000. In June 2011 the company raised $162,000 from Finlombarda.
In February 2012, Principa invested €2.4m in the company through its Principia II fund.
Company
Established in 2005, Docebo provides cloud-based corporate learning management services. The company's enterprise learning management system is sold in 80 countries, with clients including Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg and Petronas.
The company is headquartered in Naples and operates additional offices in the US and Dubai.
