Innogest Capital invests $5m in Beintoo
Italian venture capital firm Innogest Capital has invested $5m in a series-A round for Beintoo, a mobile commerce and social platform for mobile app users.
The funding will be allocated to expanding operations in North America and Asia.
Company
Beintoo was founded in Milan in 2010. Its platform allows app users to share experiences and earn a virtual currency, which can eventually be used to purchase goods from the company's sponsor stores. Beintoo has around 26 employees.
People
Antonio Tomarchio, Filippo Privitera, Andrea Cozzi, William Nespoli and Walter Ferrara are co-founders of Beintoo; Tomarchio is also the company's CEO.
