
Octopus Investments’ Paul Stevens joins BGF

Business Growth Fund (BGF) has hired Paul Stevens as an investment professional in its BGF Quoted team.
Stevens joins from UK-based investor Octopus Investments, where we spent nearly 11 years as a fund manager, having joined the firm in September 2005. During his time at Octopus, he spent time working within in GP's Quoted Smaller Companies Equities division.
At BGF, Stevens will form part of the BGF Quoted team, which focuses on identifying investments in companies listed on London's AIM market. A chartered financial analyst, he will work alongside Gavin Petken and Tom Jenkins, who lead the GP's quoted offering.
Back in April, BGF appointed Ben Barker to its investment team, with a focus on the north of England. That same month, the firm also appointed Midven's Debbie Sorby as a portfolio manager in its Birmingham office.
