
HgCapital hires Luckock as partner
HgCapital has hired Nick Luckock, previously a partner at Actis, as a partner and member of the services team.
Luckock was most recently working as a partner at emerging markets GP Actis, where he was involved in transactions including AGS, Paycorp, Upstream Systems and CSH. He started his investment career at Apax in 2001 before becoming head of private investments at Cambridge Place Investment Management (CPIM) and later joining Actis in 2010. Sectors he focuses on include business services, financial processing and technology.
At HgCapital, Luckock will join the 10-strong services team where he will work alongside Matt Rourke, Andrew Land and Thorsten Toepfer. He will be based in the London office.
In May this year, HgCapital promoted Amanda Good and Sebastien Briens to partner and recruited two new senior members to its investment teams in Munich and London. The firm was recently featured by unquote" as part of our In Profile series.
